Lappertails
The Single Blade & Double Blade Lappertails caught some nice muskies on opening day
6-10-10 Both of these muskies were caught on a Lappertail - double Black with double Black blades. Both of these fish are over 50" and 30lbs. Nice job Bill
Here's a muskie caught and released on 6-19-10
Lappertail strikes again - Black and Copper / double Gold blades
53" - 31 lbs.
I do have different color Blades and several different color Flashabou. There are no standard colors, I have been making them to order for each angler. All blades are .040 thick. The thinner blades just don't run right for the speed we troll at. Please email me with your request of colors and size and I will respond with the total cost with shipping. Get your orders in now because the muskies are biting both sizes already. Currently I only stock the Gold & Silver Willowleaf Blades for the 8" size. I do stock 1/32" wide Dyed Pearl Flashabou.
Hint: Double Yellow - Gold Blades & Double Black with Black Blades where working the best.
6-19-10 - We caught a lot of muskies and over 50% of the muskies were caught on the small "GOTCHA" = RATTLESNAKE color. That color was just smokin hot and all rod positions work.
